The Rotary Club of Austin is proud to award scholarships to college-bound high school students in one of 3 key areas:
- General Scholarships
- Auto Tech Scholarships
- Scholarships to Baylor University
This year, we awarded a total of $68,850 to 15 college-bound high school students, $8,500 to students pursuing auto tech training, and $1,600 to an LVN finishing their nursing degree.
To apply for scholarships, all scholarship applications MUST come from a school counselor and will not be accepted without the counselor’s recommendation.
To apply: The Rotary Club of Austin scholarship application documents includes
(a) the 2-page application form (please use the form attached and not one from a prior year),
(b) information about scholarship opportunities and guidelines and Rotary, and
(c) the application checklist (completed by the counselor).
The PDF application is a fillable form that we encourage the student to download and complete instead of handwriting on the printed form. The forms are also available from your school’s counselor or here on our website: rotary-austin.org. The required documents to be submitted along with the application include the following and MUST BE COMPLETED BY THE SCHOOL COUNSELOR.

The same application form can be used for the General Scholarship (only 2 submissions allowed from each school), a Baylor Specific Scholarship (as specified by the donor, limited to students attending Baylor), and the Auto Tech Scholarship (only 2 submissions from each school).
Please note that the deadline for submitting application packets is Friday, March 10, 2023. All applications must be received via email (preferred) with applications scanned and emailed to office@rotary-austin.org with the school first and student’s name second, such as McCallum-Jones.pdf. The applications may also be delivered to the Rotary Club of Austin office, 7811 Rockwood Lane, Austin, TX 78757 by the due date. LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
