Welcome, Oliver (introduced last week on 3/19/2024)!
Oliver grew up in sunny California in the beach-town of Santa Cruz. He studied at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Hospitality Management Degree. Oliver worked with the ultra-luxury hotel brand, Four Seasons, for nearly a decade across the United States. After a successful hotel career with stints in Palo Alto, Las Vegas, Jackson Hole, Ft Lauderdale and Washington DC, he transitioned into Estate/Hospitality management for Private Family Offices, which brought him to Austin, Texas last fall.
Oliver has a passion for traveling the world and enjoys exploring new countries and cities as often as possible. He has a love for cycling, swimming and enjoying a great meal. He has a black lab who is turning 7 this month and is loving Barton Springs. He is looking forward to getting to know the club and all the city has to offer.
Oliver's been involved with Rotary since high school when he was an Interact member. He led as Club President, Area Director and Lieutenant Governor, throughout his high school tenure, for the largest Interact District globally. He was fortunate to travel to two RI conventions (Brazil and Korea) where he presented about Interact, as well as to Mexico and Vietnam for Rotary Service Projects. Oliver is passionate about serving the local and global community and is excited to try to do his part to serve!
